Vanity Skin Aesthetics is located at the One E-com Building ground floor at the main door besides Starbucks. It’s a separate building across SM Hypermarket.
I was welcomed with a warm smile by Dr. Lino ( I hope I did get the name right) who was at the reception area and met a fascinating client by the name of Grace who made my few minutes of wait time certainly far from boring.
They do offer a lot of other services aside from glycolic peel including a lot of weight loss reduction techniques and facial treatments.
I was made to lie down on one of the beds for the treatment. Got some advice from Dr. Lino on what I should do next for my face to lighten it. He is surprisingly such a friendly dermatologist. He offered some of the products but in such a nice way. It makes you want to go back the next day for another treatment lol. He wiped my face clean of make up then applied the Glycolic acid. A bit of stinging sensation but nothing you cannot handle. It was left to dry out for five minutes and it was done. I was good to go. No washing of face for the night. He advised me to avoid sun exposure for a week or apply sunscreen in case. For the peeling, I should never force it and let it just peel by itself or it may cause some problems.
As for now my nose only started peeling. Hope I can see more tomorrow.
From the call I made to book the appointment, Winchy (hope that’s right too) to the treatment itself with Dr. Lino. It was such a fantastic deal and experience.

I asked hubby to be the Chief of weight loss watch. He always supports me and never fail to wish that I could get diet pills that actually work. You see I tried diet pills before and some of them seriously worked except that I just bounce back from losing to gaining weight. So currently I’m back again but this time I want to do it differently. Now I’m reading weight loss books for inspiration, buying new exercise dvd’s and who knows maybe I can find that pill.

It was my birthday and I was greeted by my hubby singing “Growing Old with you” with guitar and all wearing a blank bonnet. So schweeettt.

The year 2010 was a 50/50 year for me.
The first half of the year was when my hubby resigned from work and unfortunately was not able to find a new job again as quickly as we hoped.
We were at that time living without a health card and with bills, needs eating up all our savings. We struggled for the first half of the year but with a bit of prayer, lots of good friends and family, a bit of sideline work. We were able to get through.
I am thankful that the past year was blessed with good health even though we were kind of struggling. Hubby and I managed to laugh at the most weird moments. We joked about never having the problem of fighting over money that first half because well we don’t have any.
The second half was blessed with a new job, a better company, a new work at home job for me and a few sideline money making opportunities. My husband thankful for a new beginning and my daughter growing up so cute and makulet.
My birthday is coming up next week and this contest is actually just in time for me to say thank you for the blessing that is my family. My husband who laughs at my silliest jokes, who gives me a mini day off each week. My daughter who says the sweetest ‘mommy.” I thank God that my papa is still okay despite his illness. My relatives and friends who never forgot us especially my Tita Alrene and my best friend Lei. I am of course thankful for the world that my online life has given to me where I got to meet the nicest people.
I learned to never give up on my life and to just think positive. Good things can happen with a little patience, a dash of hope, and lots of hard work.

I have always watched American Idol I’m used to the Paula, SImon and Randy group. Kara not so. Ellen, I’m a fan but that stint just didn’t work for me. I just watched the Season 10 episode and the first time I just watched it because I’m a Jlo fan. I turned it off after a while coz I kind of miss Simon. I know, I know I’m quite a meanie too. But well on second thought its kind of refreshing because Steven Tyler is amusing, Jlo is just beautiful and stylish. Randy is well, Randy. Talents are not as great for a kick off start for the rehashed Idol but I’d still watch out for more. Go AI!!!
